Frankie

My name is Frankie Aladi, I am a veteran of the United States Air force, a  Chemist by Education, an ASE Certified Mechanic by training, a Mine Resistant and Ambush Protected Vehicle (MRAP)  electronic technician by day, a domainer in-between  and a full time disciple of Christ by choice. I also have a BS. in International Business from Liberty University and currently working on my MBA from West Texas A & M University.
I  read a lot but don’t get the opportunity to read as much as I would like to. I am well traveled but not a big fan of traveling. I like to make people laugh. More importantly I like to bring the best out of people. I always see the cup half full.
My hobbies include, Fitness, cycling, table tennis (ping pong) which I share with my lovely wife. I also love motorcycles. I ride the Legendary, limited production  “Honda Rune“.

I have been a domainer now for roughly ten years but I am by no means an expert in domains.  There is so much information out there on domain names but I will try to provide you with a new perspective. A new way of viewing and evaluating your investment based on Christian principles.

Lets go domain!

Hello Frankie Aladi, i just stumbled upon your blog and just love it. Thank you for a nice work with this blog and reminding us about the most important domain property which is Heaven. Thank you.

Very nice site! Best of luck!

  • Jill says:

Terrific website! I also like your faith-based approach. The dirty secret about so many ‘big time’ domainers (ESPECIALLY many who appear to demand respect and attention) are that some got there by selling sleazy domains.

    Keep up the great work!

    Jill

  • Hey Frankie, nice site. I am in the navy retiring in less than 4 years. I have recently got into domaining myself and trying to make a living online. Looking forward to future posts.

Great blog Frankie, I had some interesting reading all day, I got to your site through Domaining and wanted to follow your posts but could not find a sign up. I am now getting into the domain name investing, only problem as a web designer I keep holding my names for a future project I think it’ll be good for. Any way keep up the good work bro.

  • Thanks Vali,
I will see if I can set up a registration system to alert members to new post. Just give me a couple of days and if it is possible I will get it done.

    hey frankie,

gotta imagine that is you on your wedding day:) good stuff…thanks for all help and advice over past year…this has got to be the year for my domains…i think before when i was paying a few grand a year to keep them for over last ten years it was no big deal. Now that i have a few more and its getting into the 5k range its really meaningful…especially when there are stocks for a dollar that can be 20 in two-three years :)

just do the math:) i went thru a batch of 80 last night and did some hard thinking-the ones i thought i would develope when i bought them…i thought about them again and they are far down the food chain on my 500 plus names…so got rid of 30 :) hoping to cull another 15-20% over next few months to be in the 500 max range until they start paying off and i sell a few.

    hope things are going well!!!

Thank you for your inspiration! It’s so refreshing to discover someone in this business that operates with principles and by faith. I’m not sure of the etiquette here but I am looking for recommendations for job site software. I have several domains I’d like to start on. Any insights sincerely appreciated.

    Sincerely,

    Jerry

    Hi Frankie

I just come across your blog through the Domainer newsletter. I quickly scanned through it and saw the Scripture quote from Proverbs 22:1 for your current post and decided to check it out. I too am a devoted follower of Christ. It is always a blessing to come across fellow Christian domainers. I have been domaining for almost 4 years now but more importantly, following Christ for around 12. I have greatly enjoyed looking through your blog and will be making it a regular read. I am 24yo and from Brisbane, Australia. Been full time domaining for a year now and loving it. My wife and I are expecting our first child in May so it will be a very exciting year and I’m hoping God continues to bless my domain business. It’s great to get to know you through your blog and I look forward to future posts.

  • David,
Congratulations on the baby on the way. Do you know if he/she is a he or she? Our baby is slightly over 3 months old now. My wife and I did not want to know the sex so it was a big suprise since everyone predicted a baby boy. Luckily a girl can were light blue.
May God continue to bless you and your endevours. May he open your eyes to always sow the right seed.

Hi. Just stumbled upon the blog also. I really think the hearingdogs.com domain name has so much potential..that’s a really good one and you own the ultimate domain for this very important niche resource/community. I think the development potential on this one could be awesome.

best of luck with all things!

  • Ron Wells says:

    Hi Frankie,

I really enjoyed reading your “very” down-to-earth blog! It is so refreshing to know that I am starting to stumble upon so many nice people in this industry…I love it!

I just wanted to stop by to introduce myself…my name is Ron Wells. I’m a fairly new name in the domain space (although I have been somewhat active over the past few years). My main passion is selling domains (I got my start on eBay, under the user name: 123merchants…which is still active); I generally sell on SnapNames now and through my newsletter. although I am mostly into sales…I just recently purchased a name that I couldn’t pass on yesterday: FixedLoans.com.

Other than that purchase, I am basically a seller (still learning the biz!).

Anyway, keep up with the nice blog…I just came across it today!

    Stay blessed,
    Ron

  • Ron,
    Congrats on FixedLoans.com
I am not an expert but that to me is a spectacular purchase.
I guess I have to update my bio now. You just reminded me that like you I started off in ebay as “idealer” and became a power seller before I went to the desert with the Airforce (as a civilian contractor this time)

How can I contact you directly?

    Respectfully,

    Allen T.

  • Allen,
    Check your email

  • Some great posts there! A shame it hasn’t been updated recently. Hope you will have time to resume it soon.

  • Baptiste says:

    Frank,
Your biggest domain is your service to our nation. There is no price one can pay for that.

We wish you well in your endeavors.
    B

  • Thanks Baptiste. It is an honor to have served our nation.

  • Bilde,
I am trying to work on that. I am currently up to my neck with other commitments. Did I mention that my day job consumes anywhere from 10 to 12 hours plus I am currently attending college (again), and not forgetting my boisterous 14 month old daughter and wife

  • Andrea says:

    Good Day Frankie,

Hope all is well with you and your family. Please email me as soon as you can.
